Robot welding – for highly detailed welding or large series

Our robot welding machine ABB IRBP D600, with an IRC5 plus control system, allows us to benefit from short cycle times and good accessibility, as the robot has a range of 1850 mm.

The positioner can handle up to 600 kg per side, and has multiple axes, allowing for synchronised movements.

Compared to manual welding, robot welding is a much faster method.

A part requiring a number of welded elements or large series can benefit from robot welding.

In some cases, a job requires us to combine robot welding and manual welding, for example if the part has areas the robot arm cannot reach.
